Welcome New Faculty 2025–26

The Faculty of Arts & Science is proud to introduce our newest faculty members.

Each individual brings with them remarkable expertise across a diverse field of interests. From examining how historical practices in media inform contemporary theatre, performance and culture to the ways collective quantum behaviors can give rise to new states of matter, and from exploring how people can navigate life more adaptively in a distraction-filled world to understanding how public policies and adverse economic shocks impact the labour market decisions of low-wage workers and the health and educational outcomes of children — among many other specialties — they are both leaders in their fields and leading the way in new areas of inquiry and instruction.

Through their commitments to research and teaching, Faculty of Arts & Science students, fellow faculty members, staff and the wider U of T community will benefit from their expertise, energy, enthusiasm, and the range of new perspectives they bring.
